Pure World of Dance Season 1 Contestant Profile: “Keone & Mari”
Another contestant in “World Of Dance” is a dance duo/husband and wife team called “Keone & Mari”. They are from San Diego, California. According to their You Tube page, their dream is to use dance as a medium between different collaborative art forms and to create storytelling through dance. You can view some of their e-book creations below. They also star in and choreographed Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” video. Their work can also be seen in the 2012 Hyundai commercial as well as on the Ellen Degeneres show. They were also paired with singer/songwriter Christina Grimmie for a breathtaking collaboration for Jon Chu’s DS2DIO Remixed. To read more on this creative team, see this Biography. I love how Mari grew up not far from me in Boulder, Colorado. I have a feeling these two will be a huge and beautiful force in the “World Of Dance” competition. What do you think?
